Posted: Mon Nov 22, 2010 8:37 pmIt is curious but I did the experiment with three different people asking them to draw a truck driver, a nurse, a kindergarden teacher and a doctor. The three draw a men for the truck driver and doctor and a women for the nurse and kindergarden.
The reason is because traditionally, there are jobs that in the past were for men and the others for women. For exemple, a taxi driver use to be a man and a teacher use to be a woman. But now, the situation is changing and women works as a taxi driver too and vice versa.
However, even the situation is changing not the salary for woman. Nowadays, the same job, do it by a men, they earn more money as if it is do it by a woman. We can think that this is not fear but is the real life.
