ans: i think that charities are a good idea because we can help many poor people.

Are there any big or famous charities in your country? What do they do?
In my country (Italy) there is a big charity called Caritas. This organization helps the poor peolple give them food, hot meals and clothes. Sometime, they also raise food with food collection in the supermarkets, where the people to do shopping can donate something to their liking.
