1. Films and you.
I don’t go too much to the cinema. It’s very expensive. If you go to the cinema with someone, one of you should buy the tickets; then, the other should pay the beers or the diner after the cinema. You can spend 15€ or more to go to the cinema. Another option is going to the cinema alone. Therefore I don’t usually go to the cinema very often.
2. Your favourite films.
I like a lot of types of films, but I prefer films that tell historical stories or science-fiction films. I like very much the films that tell stories of other countries.
I can’t recommend any film because there’s a long time that I don’t go to the cinema. But I want to go to see a new film that its official showing is the next week. The film is called Flamenco, flamenco.
3. Films from your country.
A very good film that tells an important moment of my country’s history is Land and Freedom, a film of Kean Loach (1995). The film explains some causes of the outcome of the Spanish Civil War: a very sad story because the “bad ones” win the war and they mark the History of my country for the next decades till now.
Other good films are The Mission (Roland Joffé, 1986), Mad Max 2 (Mel Gibson, 1981), Antichrist (Lars von Trier, 2009) and The last tempation of Christ (Martin Scorsese, 1988).
