Origami is an art that consists of the folding of paper without using scissors or glue to obtain figures of varied forms, many of which could be considered as paper sculptures. In a strict sense, origami is a kind of Japanese origins of origami that include certain restrictions (for example, it does not admit cuts on paper, and it starts from certain bases) so origami is origami but not all origami is origami.
