The Florida Lottery announced today (March, 19) that Hector L Torres, 49, of Orlando, claimed the March 15 FLORIDA LOTTO base jackpot of $13 million.
Torres, who purchased a $1 play FLORIDA LOTTO Quick Pick ticket, chose the one-time, lump-sum payment fos his winnings in the amount of $7,568,167. The winning FLOPRIDA Lotto ticket was purchased at the Circle K, located at 2680 N Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee. The retailer received a bonus incentive of $25,000 for selling the jackpot - winning ticket.
The winning numbers sere: 16 - 20 - 22 - 32 - 44- 51.
The FLorida Lottery has added more choices to FLORIDA LOTTO, offering players thre levels of jackpots to choose from. The base jackpot, at $1 play, remains the same - starting at $3 million and increasing with each rollover if no one matches the six-of-six winning numbers. A $2 play offers players the opportunity to win the base jackpot plus $10 million, while a $3 play offers players the opportunity to win the base jackpot plus the $ 10 million and an extra $ 15 million - for a total of $ 25 million added to the base jackpot!
Torres is in the 10th FLORIDA LOTTO winner to purchase a winning ticket in Osceola County. FLORIDA LOTTO has produced more than 930 jackpot winners since 1988.
