I remember the time when I was little... There was a saying which said something about how much colesterol had the eggs and that there were forgiven to eats more than two eggs in the same day because it was very bad for your health. Nowadays, we know about two different types of colesterol (one "good", one "bad") and there are studies about the eggs that even consider them as food with incredible properties.

Something similar happens to diet soft drinks like "Coca-cola Zero" for example. They say that it is so bad for health; so bad that even it could create cancer in your body. But the reality is that none of that is demonstrated yet. If it were possible I think this product would be out of the market for good.

Not only does diet soft drinks, but also processed fruit juice and milkshakes are considerer nowadays even worse, due to the high level of sugar and added substances they have. The pediatrician of my son was near to kill me one day she saw my boy siping one.

Food that is out:

I would like to continue with products that until now you believed they were good for health. I am referring to the quantity of sugar that baked ham contains. It is really hard to choose an specific item at the supermarket because of the variety of products. My youngest child suffers from diabetes and we have to control carefully what each piece of ham is made of. In the old days I remember that baked ham was really healthy because there wasn't a lot of fats inside it, but now you have to decide more factors to be sure that what you buy is appropriate for your family. Manufacturers are trying to convince byers to make more attractive and tasteful their products and in my opinion, this is a way to confuse people. It will be necessary to recover unprocessed products and identifying them perfectly on their labels for everybody's wellness.

When I was young I liked to eat chocolate but my mother told me that it wasn't good for acne. Nowadays, It's known that the acne that appears on the face is the result of the secretions of the skin due to hormonal alterations, it has nothing to do with food. Some women feel the need to take chocolate in the premenstrual period, for which is usually associated with ingested chocolate and not for hormonal changes.

I remember there was a period of time where milk was considered as a bad option. Nowadays, we have a huge variety of these kind of drinks such as: milk, almond milk, soy milk and so on.

On the other hand, we also have a long list of food that should be out: fizzy drinks, juices, cookies... In fact, if you analyse the label of the product, you'll be suprised by the amount of unknown and unhealthy ingredients such as palm oil, aspartam...

We should pay more attention to what we buy in the supermarkets.

I am very glad to know Ketchup can benefit cardiac conditions since my children have been great consumers. I myself like it a lot with some food like hamburgers. Talking of which I didn´t know that if it´s not a double burger, it is considered a healthy meal... of course without the fries.

I have always followed the motto "Everything is good with moderation". When cravings are there in my mind, I eat some comfort food and I feel my spirit rise. My belief with physical health goes connected with that spiritual part of pampering. Yet, again, this must be done with moderation.

When I was a child I rember that my mother gave me lots of juices because at that time people thought that its were good for human body in order to rehydrate our organism expecially if you were sick. Nowadays all pediatricians agree on saying that it's better to give to our children centrifuges of seasonal fruits instead of industrial juices because the latter contain a huge quantity of sugar and some others ingredients inside them that are considered quite a poison for our health.
The opposite happened for chocolate. During the past this food was considered bad for us; but during the last years many medical research have demonstrated that chocolate has lots of qualities and can bring benefits to our cardiac conditions.
