April Fool's Day

When is it? on April 1st of every year
Where is it celebrated? In the Western World
How is it celebrated? The day is marked by the commission of good humoured or funny jokes hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, teachers, neighbors, work associates, and others with the aim to embarrass the stupid and naive.
What is the history of it? In Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (1392), the "Nun's Priest's Tale" is set Syn March bigan thritty dayes and two.[3] Chaucer probably meant 32 days after March, i.e. May 2,[4] the anniversary of the engagement of King Richard II of England to Anne of Bohemia, which took place in 1381. However, readers apparently misunderstood this line to mean "March 32," i.e. April 1.[5] In Chaucer's tale, the vain cock Chauntecleer is tricked by a fox. Where is it celebrated? is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand
How is it celebrated? Anzac Day is a national public holiday and is considered one of the most spiritual and solemn days of the year in Australia. Marches by veterans from all past wars, as well as current serving members of the Australian Defence Force and Reserves
What is the history of it? It now more broadly commemorates all those who died and served in military operations for their countries

Where is it celebrated? in the United States and Canada. The most famous is held in the town of Punxsutawney, located in the State of Pennsylvania.
How is it celebrated? try to predict the length of winter by the behavior of a groundhog
What is the history of it? This tradition is celebrated in many towns throughout the U.S.. UU., And even in Canada (where the most famous groundhog Wiarton Willie is called), however, is the groundhog Punxsutawney Phil of the most famous, with a tradition of more than a century (especially since 1887).

Where is it celebrated? is a traditional celebration in some English-speaking countries

How is it celebrated? The piñata is a traditional building made of mud and paper or paper used only as a representation of the cardinal sins in the Catholic religion, they should break with a stick that represents the strength and power of God, and the sweet fall break fruit which was stuffed, these are rewards and gifts to overcome sin.
What is the history of it? One of the first missionaries, the Augustinian friar Diego de Soria, requesting authorization for the Pope to celebrate Mass in nine days before Christmas to celebrate the birth of Christ as the true sun and light of the world, to which the Vatican gave such authorization, which the Augustinians promoted the substitution of characters and so pre-Hispanic god disappeared and kept the celebration, giving Christian features.

When is it? It is the Vietnamese New Year marking the arrival of spring based on the Lunar calendar, a lunisolar calendar.
Where is it celebrated? is the most important and popular holiday and festival in Vietnam
How is it celebrated? Vietnamese people usually return to their families during Tết. Some return to worship at the family altar or visit the graves of their ancestors in their homeland. Although Tết is a national holiday among all Vietnamese, each region and religion has its own customs.
