2. What about you?

Talking about imaginary situations

Use would + verb to talk about situations you imagine.

A: Would you like to study in Australia?
B: Yes, I would like to study in Australia.
A: Would you miss your family?
B: Yes, I would miss my family?

Answer the questions.

Would you like to study English in a different country?
Where would you like to study?
Why would you like to study there?
What would you miss?

For example:

I would like to study English in a different country. I think I'd like to study in Canada. Canada is an interesting country. First, I would study English there and then I would travel around the country. I like travelling and I like nature and I like meeting people. I don't think I would miss anything while I am travelling. I would be too busy!

Write at least five sentences. Post your answers on the Pre-Elementary Noticeboard.

I would like to study English in a different country. I think I would like to study in the United States. I think that USA is an incredible country. I would visit a lot of places there, especially I would like to meet New York. Perhaps I would miss Spain and my family after some months living there.
