1. What factors do you consider important in causing mixed ability? Put these in order of importance for you:

Motivation
Learning style
Attitude
Previous exposure
Aptitude
Personality

3."Every group is a mixed-ability group." Do you agree with this? What are the implications of this statement for teachers?

I agree with this because all groups have students with different abilities and many learning styles, it can help us to make planning taking account activities that involve all the students with their different learning style and in some cases their likes, it can adapt the planning with it be necessary.

4. Mixed ability is usually considered to be a problem. But is it? Could there be some advantages to having students of different levels and abilities in the same class?

In some cases it can be a problem! For the teacher because they have to make planning for some particular cases, for example when you have students with special education, because not all teachers have specific knowledge to teach this kind of student, but for the students it could be a advantage because they can learn with different and diverses activities according to their needs and likes.
