1. What factors do you consider important in causing mixed ability? Put these in order of importance for you:

1.- previous exposure
2.- learning style

4. Mixed ability is usually considered to be a problem. But is it? Could there be some advantages to having students of different levels and abilities in the same class?

We try to make this situation manageable by giving students placement tests, so that they can be put into classes with people who are at the same level as they are
we may give different students different tasks, or we could give them different things to read or listen to according their different abilities
we can provide with different material according to their individual needs
we can offer different contents to allow students to make choices about what material they are going to work with . It is an ideal way to differentiate between them.

what can you tell me about a class gruup that is lack os mix-abilities
Adults or Students that are learning english language for the first time.
