1. The order of the mixed ability is: previous exposure, aptitude, attitude, motivation, learning style and personality.

2. What do you think of the teachers' suggestions? What else would you do in these situations?

All the suggestions were good but the real problem is that in every situation presented children are able to communicate ideas or to express their opinions at least in a basic level, the truth is that in most of the schools in Mexico students can´t espress their ideas, their knowledge is basic. If you are lucky they will tell you the numbers from 1 to 20 or the name of some colors; so... How could you encourage them to participate in a debate if they can´t do that even in spanish?

3. Every group is a mixed-ability group." Do you agree with this? What are the implications of this statement for teachers?
Yes, I do. As teachers we have to plan different activities considering all the different ways to learn in the group

4. Mixed ability is usually considered to be a problem. But is it? Could there be some advantages to having students of different levels and abilities in the same class?

Yes it is, Advantages? Sure, having students with different habilities can make you class rich in different ways to express ideas, students are incredibly creative and you can observe how their minds work, unfortunately when you have studens with different level you are facing a big problem because as teachers we can "spend" a lot of time helping students with a lower level ans while we are doing this the rest of the class may lose their interest.
It's challenging for the teachers, so they develop new skills.
