I disagree with first sentence. I use songs with my student of ten years old, and they love to sing. So you as a teacher must look for song your Students love.
I agree with second sentence, to stablish a routine is a good idea to swich spanish class to english class, that's something reallly excelent for all kind of students.
I agree with third sentence, we as a teachers must look for extra activities for all the students who are so fast in their works at school, in order to help them and could it became an activity that must motivate at the ones who are lazy in the classroom.
