Unit 1, exercise 8

I agree with the first statement. If all children from class don't like songs it's better not to use them. I would try to include chants, stories, games instead.

I agree with the second statement. In my opinion it's good to have the same or very similar structure of the lesson so children feel safe during the lesson. To begin the lesson with a revision is OK, but I wouldn't always end with a song, I would sometimes change to game, chant or some other activity that the children would enjoy.

I agree with the third statement. For the children who work quickly it's neccesary to find another activity that would help them spend a quality time during the lesson.

Thanks for you comments Eva! I agree with what you say: it's helpful for the kids if you follow a certain lesson structure, so they know more or less what to expect. But if every lesson is the same, that could become boring: a little bit of variety and the occasional surprise will help maintain their interest!
See you again soon,

I disagree with the first statement, I find that all age groups like songs. I think this is because there is a song for each age, so we must be very careful choosing the the right rhytmn to keep the interest.

I agree with the second statement. In my opinion it´s quite important to start with a warm up like a song, game or tongue twister something that surprise the students and help to maintein their interest.

I agree with the third statement, In my opinion to give extra activities to the children that finish early will give me time to guide the ones that didn´t finish.
