unit 9 final task
Posted: Sat Apr 18, 2020 1:17 pmin the beginning the website is amazing and displays wonderful and useful different videos which I like , in my opinion I think these short videos were made and and designed to have the attention of all age categories because of their interesting topics and useful information and providing knowledge , but if I must be specific I would say that this website is aimed at the students with intermediate level of English or students in secondary schools (12 to 16 years old) who have a background about the language but still need more information more vocabulary more definitions of some terms and words, and it is useful for some listening activities since it is asking questions about each video.
I would choose one of the activities in the website which I like and already did in one of my classes which is (can trees help climate change?) the reason behind choosing this activity is because it combines chemical , biological , environmental information plus the use of standard English to explain,, so what we did is actually we did some research about the affect of trees in climate and how they increase the amount of Oxygen in the atmosphere and we brought some trees and we planted them in the school's garden and then at classroom we discussed this by groups of students by making presentations on the board.
