Paolo's planning style is the most similar to my own planing. I always try to do something different with my students. for me the most important quality in planning a unit of work is variety because if you want to make changes and if you want your students do something different. when I plan my lesson I plan series of lesson and start with aims and I hardly ever use coursebook and I set everything such as lessons,assessment ,homework,quizzes, finally my advice to those teachers who spend a lot of time planning is try to be consistent in scheme of work and evaluate how it works for your students, day by day you will feel confident.
