final task unit 1
Posted: Mon Mar 23, 2020 1:53 pmthe book i read was 'learning teaching' chapter 2 by Jim Scrivener it is talking about how teachers can use a very interesting tool to have student's attention which is bu making activities.
now the activities can be in so many different types according to the subject or even according to the mixture of the class since i believe that every class is a mixed ability class.
the activities or the tasks that i give are mostly ungraded but they are a vert helping tool for more learning and understanding because the student will not be fully engaging the lesson unless you give him something to test himself, as we should notice that different level and more complex activities must be given to discriminate the students who have strong ability and fast information absorption.
sometimes the teacher does not have to give the whole activity to students but he or she can take the idea and transform it in a way that can be more clear and closer to the students minds,the teacher should know the abilities of his students.
one of the methods of including the students in the activity is using technology , technology has the best reflection of students understanding since it is something that is commonly used these days where students can practice and study and having fun at the same time.
