mixed-ability groups

mixed-ability classes are very common, it might seem a problem , but it is actually not, why? through my experience in teaching i was able to see how different ideas and thoughts of students positively affects their colleagues and classmates in opening new windows and thinking outside the box...and like i mentioned earlier it is a common situation where you find different levels of brains in small or big groups having an open discussion about a specific topic and sharing solutions for problems..the advantage of that is to get multiple ideas each one in his/her own way of thinking.
