CHILDREN AS LEARNERS

Post by EUNICE AGUIRRE » Fri Oct 13, 2017 3:39 am

I almost never do songs with my groups of 10-year-old or older. I find that this range of age dislike singing songs for kids. I think this because they are growing up. So I agree with the first statement.
I partly agree with the second statement. I think that the better way to start the lesson is when the teacher make a review of the previous lesson. However I not always end the lesson with a song because some kids think singing songs all the classes is for babies.
I agree with the statement number three, however I do not prepare extra exercises for the children who finish early most of the times. I think it´s not good if they have nothing to do. It´s kind of difficult keeping on hand a lot of material for this kids, they are faster than the others almost all the classes. I think they do every activity quickly in order to have free time.
