I disagree with the first statement. I find that all age groups like songs. I think this is because the most of time I use songs during my clases but a try to look for different song according to each ages for example there are many modern music with basic vocabylary. Children 10 to 12 years enjoy to sing them and to practice English expressions.
I agree with the second statement because is very important to review the previous knowledge to use it in the new lesson. Also is very necessary to review the vocabulary and try to inlcude it in other lessons. It is very common to teach some topics and then we forget them and if in the next grade have to work with these the students don´t remember nothing. So in my case I try to review the lessons constantly and use many activities to create routines in my students and also to help them to appropriate English.
