I make students keep a record of their mistakes in their notebook. It is really useful for them as every mistake is personal and each student has their own mistake. Obviously, some mistakes are quite popular among all students, such as the –s for the 3rd person singular form in verbs. I also like using students’ real sentences in order to make them aware of their weak points, but I do so only with the popular mistakes I was talking about above.
