mixed-ability classes (discussion topics)

3. I completely agree with the affirmation that every group of learners is a mixed-ability group. Any group is made up of a wide variety of learners who each bring their own attitudes, previous learning experiences, motivations, interests, preferences, personalities and aptitudes to the class. It is our objective to encourage those who are weaker so that they feel they can improve and they are somehow useful for the development of the tasks and at the same time to motivate those who lead the group so that they do not get tired or bored. We have to use our psychology in order to make balanced work groups and look for challenging but at the same time enjoyable activities to work with.
