Last year I was going from work when my neighbor called me to tell me that my flat was getting flood. That happened because that day someone went to the apartment to make some arrangements and left the facet open. I just asked my neighbor if he could close the stopcock while I arrived and he helped me with that.
To arrive quickly I got of the bus and pick a taxi and in the middle of the freeway the taxi break down and the only and I had to take transmilenio.
Finally when I arrived the entire apartment was flooded and I had to mop. But the worst part is that the floor is made of Wood, and this material with the water get inflates. I had to change all the floor of the apartment.
It was a very unlucky day
